Behind every dataset, every published paper, and every heat-health model produced by the HE²AT Center, there were real people — researchers in the field, colleagues around a table, and everyday moments that rarely make it into a journal article.
As the centre transitions to its next phase, we wanted to pause and share some of those moments. This gallery brings together photographs from across the past five years: the people who did the work, the places where it happened, and the small, human details that shaped it all.
It's a different kind of record than the one we usually publish — but in many ways, just as important. Science doesn't happen in isolation. It happens through collaboration, long days in the field, shared meals, and the relationships built along the way.
