Hosted by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Health and Extreme Weather (HEW) program, this webinar session presented key findings from the HE²AT Center project, funded through the Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation in Africa (DS-I Africa) initiative. Speakers discussed how data science can help integrate health and weather data, improve understanding of heat-related health risks in Africa, and support more effective responses to extreme heat.

The session also explored new research questions and opportunities to use data-driven tools to strengthen heat resilience and public health planning across the continent.
